Greg Buzzard - President
Greg Buzzard is the Treasurer of the Invercargill Club. He has been a member since 2016 and a committee member since 2019. Greg is CFO of PowerNet, who collectively manage electricity distribution businesses throughout Southland and Otago [and is the fourth largest such business in NZ]. He is a competitive bridge and table tennis player and social golfer. Together with partner Janene they enjoy the social atmosphere, various functions and diverse membership of the Club.

Andrew Sherriff - Vice President
Hugo Zaat - Past President
Hugo based in Invercargill and has been a member of the Invercargill Club since 2019. He shares his time between family, full-time work at the Southland District Council, part-time work for the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) as an online facilitator in their Bachelor of Applied Management. Apart from work his personal interests vary between sailing, archery, music, and fishing. As a committee member Hugo aims to support the Invercargill Club in a well balanced, proactive and strategic way forward.

Lorraine Harrison - Secretary
Lorraine Harrison is Secretary of the Invercargill Club and an Associate at Cruickshank Pryde, where she specialises in trusts and estates, wills and estate planning, company law, and international and cross-jurisdictional matters.
Originally from the UK, and has practised law in England and the Caribbean since the late 1990s. She relocated to Southland with her family in 2024 and is now proud to call the region home. As Secretary, Lorraine brings extensive professional experience, strong organisational skills and an international perspective to the Club’s committee, helping support its governance and ongoing development.

Craig Macalister - Treasurer
Craig Macalister is Treasurer of the Invercargill Club and a Partner at Findex Invercargill, specialising in taxation advisory. He has extensive experience across a broad range of tax matters, working with everyone from sole traders through to large corporates, with particular expertise in cross-border taxation, property, agriculture and GST.
Craig has also contributed extensively to the wider accounting and taxation profession, including as co-author of the Staples Tax Guide and GST in New Zealand. Prior to joining Findex, he served as Tax Director at the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. As Treasurer, Craig brings significant financial, governance and commercial expertise to the Club, helping provide strong oversight of its finances and supporting its long-term sustainability.

Nathan McKenzie - Committee
Nathan McKenzie is a committee member of the Invercargill Club and the founder of Hopsession Brewing, an Invercargill craft brewery that grew from a home-brewing hobby into a local business. Hopsession is proudly Southland-focused, with its beers drawing inspiration from local places, people and the character of the region.

Phil Robinson - Committee
In 2019, Phil became a member of the club and later joined the committee in 2023. Fifteen years prior, as a 19 year old Phil first walked into the club to participate in snooker competitions, forming fond memories of the place. Inspired by its rich history Phil believes the club should look to continue to grow and cement its place not just in the history of Invercargill but in the future too.
Phil is the founder of Invercargill-based Back9 Creative Studio, which specialises in web/app design and digital marketing.
